We talk about Richard Christiansen a lot because we like Richard Christiansen a lot. Last year we spent our team retreat at his whimsical Hamptons getaway, Mermaid Ranch. Then, curious to know everything more about him, Erik and I went to his New York apartment where, among other things, he told anecdotes from his voyage up Mount Everest. Erik and I thought he was joking. We quickly learned there was no part of his adventurous spirit that wasn’t wholeheartedly sincere.
But you probably know this by now through his Art of Life and conversation on Pardon My French. As I said, we like Richard a lot. He recently relocated to LA where he almost serendipitously came to own a property he’s astutely dubbed Flamingo Estate. It has succulents, pink stucco, and so much more, including that sort of Gatsby-esque charm Richard is so good at. Take a peek inside.
